Hamilton Beach Commercial® Tempest® 3 Hp High-Performance Drink Blender, with 64 oz Polycarbonate Container

Hamilton Beach Commercial’s patented Wave~Action® system has a unique container and blade design for a super-creamy profile every time. Ordinary blenders spin contents around the walls of the jar, which can leave whole chunks of fruit and other ingredients untouched by the blades.

A powerful 3 peak HP motor is strong enough to power through thick ingredients in the least amount of time, while being optimized for maximum motor life. Controls include two speeds plus Jump cycle, Pulse and Timer. The Jump cycle allows the blender to start on low speed to minimize noise while large chunks are being blended, then switches to high speed to achieve a super-creamy drink profile. The timer shuts the blender down after a set time has elapsed and allows for hands-free blending.

The stackable 64-ounce polycarbonate container is break-resistant and stores in less space to free up your counter. The cutter assembly design features dual bearings for enhanced jar life. An all-metal drive coupling provides the utmost durability, and the jar pad sensor turns the motor off when container is not in place, to help prevent careless clutch grinding and extend the life of the jar.

Temperature Gauge: Blender alerts operator before motor overheats to train against misuse. Blender features a cool-down cycle to quickly reduce motor temperatures and resume normal operation.

The Tempest® blender can be easily recessed into the counter with accessory CK650 (sold separately), which provides reduced noise levels and a lower profile.

Cross-contamination container bands are available as accessories to provide added protection against cross-contamination and food-borne illness. They can be used in combination with the current HACCP color code system. (Sold separately as part #990123600)
