To determine the appropriate size, measure from palmar crease to distal finger crease. For use, simply hold the spring at the proximal and distal pads and then slide the splint on the finger so the proximal pad rests over the volar aspect of the metacarpal head and the distal pad rests at the distal interphalangeal joint (DIP).
