Debrisoft Wound Bed Preparation Products
Debrisoft products are unique, safe, and highly effective debridement products that significantly improve wound bed preparation for acute and chronic wounds. Debrisoft makes the process quick and effective showing visible results in only 2-4 minutes. It’s also virtually painless for the patient resulting in high patient acceptance. Debrisoft products work selectively, leaving viable granulation and epithelial tissue intact while gently removing exudate, debris, and keratosis. Debrisoft is recommended for cleansing of both superficial acute and chronic wounds, including but not limited to leg, diabetic and pressure ulcers, burns, including 3rd degree burns after surgical debridement, traumatic and surgical wounds and the removal of hyperkeratotic tissue including lymphedema associated keratosis, dry skin and seborrheic plaques. Additionally the Debrisoft Lolly is suitable to debride deep, undermining and tunneling wounds as well as hard-to-reach areas.
Debrisoft Pads
Debrisoft products consist of 100% unbleached monolimanent polyester fibers and the back layer is coated with polyacrylate to prevent linting. They are free of colophony and its derivatives. The beveled fiber pile lifts, binds, and removes genlty slough and debris, including biofilm, from the wound bed and surrounding skin. Studies show that Debrisoft products reduce 90-99% of slough, biofilm, and bacterial load.
Debrisoft Lolly
The Debrisoft Lolly head consists of the same monofilament fibers as the Debrisoft Pads and is specifically designed for the debridement of deep wounds, including those resulting from invasive surgery. Featuring an ergonomic, break-resistant handle and x-ray detectable polypropylene threads, it provides a high degree of safety, flexibility for wound pockets and tunnels, and focused pressure where needed. Debrisoft Lolly is designed to reach areas other debridement methods may be impractical.
