The adjustable seat lift assistance system promotes user independence and reduces strain on caregivers, featuring automatic anti-rollback braking when a user begins to stand. Compatible with most standard 16”, 18”, and 20” wide folding wheelchairs, it requires minor adjustments to seat height during installation (not compatible with heavy-duty or bariatric wheelchairs) and has a weight capacity of 250 lbs. Replacing the wheelchair’s existing sling seat, it must be used with a wheelchair cushion (sold separately), which easily attaches to the lift seat with pre-installed hook and loop strips to ensure stability during use. No power or battery is required for operation. When installed, the seat raises between 6 and 8 inches, measured at the very back of the lift seat, with variability based on the force setting of the system.
