The NYOrtho Footrest Extender Leg Rest Pad is a two-part system that enhances wheelchair comfort and safety by both extending the footrest and supporting the lower leg. The Footrest Extender raises the wheelchair’s footrest by 1, 2, or 3 inches to help improve posture, relieve pressure, and reduce symptoms associated with foot drop. The accompanying Leg Rest Pad provides cushioned support behind the lower legs, helping to prevent the feet from slipping off or behind the footrests. Together, they ensure proper foot elevation and leg protection, offering safer, more complete support than either alone.

RECOMMENDED USE: Physically or cognitively handicapped patients who have limited mobility, muscle control, or awareness. The combined use of the Footrest Extender and Leg Rest Pad helps maintain proper leg positioning, prevents foot slipping, and enhances safety and comfort.
