The UPWalker is a revolutionary mobility product that has reinvented the walker. It enables users to walk upright in a safer, more secure posture as compared to traditional walkers and rollators that cause users to hunch over. Using the UPWalker gives users greater freedom and independence and has been shown to reduce back, wrist and lower limb pain, enabling users to walk farther with less effort. The UPWalker Lite features many of the same features of standard UPWalker models except it is smaller, lighter (only 15.5 lbs.!), designed especially to maneuver in indoor spaces and for users who might be challenged by a heavier walker. Because they are specifically sized, users feel safer, stop slouching and regain their independence. The sturdy frame is made from aluminum alloy and other quality materials, including composite plastic and polyurethane. Comfortable ergonomic handles include lockable hand brakes. The brakes stop the rear wheels and locks them in place. The front wheels lock to keep the UPWalker going in a straight line. The 8” diameter front wheels and 6” diameter back wheels are ideal for maneuvering in tight spaces and ensure a smooth journey no matter the destination. In addition to the included seat, the UPWalker comes with a personal item bag, a beverage holder and a backrest support for sitting. This UPWalker Lite is intended for users who are between 4’7”-5’10” and weigh less than 300 lbs. The UPWalker comes fully assembled with an easy-to-follow User Guide. It can be removed from the box, adjusted to personal settings and used immediately. Brakes also function as parking brake for sitting or standing from seated position. When folded, the unit is 29” x 8.5” x 40” making it transportable in the trunk or back seat of most cars and easy for storage. The wheels are made of soft, high-quality TPR rubber and are not inflated, meaning a flat tire will never stop the walking. Walking at night is safer as the UPWalker comes standard with safety reflectors.
